Yo Amo América Campaign

Launched in March of 2008, Yo Amo América, is a regional advocacy and social marketing campaign aimed at reducing poverty and spurring development in Latin America and the Caribbean. The campaign features artists as agents of change in strategic areas of development. Ricky Martin, Juanes and Juan Luis Guerra, are serving as spokespersons for birth registration, early childhood development and access to financial services, respectively.

The campaign raises awareness among policymakers about the importance of developing policies and making investments in these strategic areas, as well as the importance of promoting specific services and providing information to low income groups.
