IDB and IPC to examine Food Security and Trade in the Asia-Pacific & LAC Region
The International Food & Agricultural Trade Policy Council (IPC) and the IDB are pleased to convene the seminar “Charting the Course: Food Security and Trade in the Asia-Pacific & LAC Region” to take stock of food policy and trade related developments and initiatives in the region. IDB leads delegation from LAC during the Global Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Conference in Seoul, Korea
Twenty-five officers representing 18 customs administrations from the region presented progress reports on AEO programs before more than 800 private sector representatives from around the world, officers from 90 customs administrations, and the Korean Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance, Mr. Shin Je-Yoon.
