ASIA-LAC Trade and Investment Forum | 日本語
In collaboration with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, the Inter-American Development Bank, through its Integration and Trade Sector and its Office of Outreach and Partnerships, will host the ASIA-Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Trade and Investment Forum aimed at strengthening and expanding the commercial ties between Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Forum will take place in Tokyo, Japan, October 30th and 31st.
- October 30: Japan Business Federation Headquarters – Nippon Keidanren
- October 31: JETRO Headquarters – Japan External Trade Organization
The Forum aims to promote ASIA-LAC bilateral trade and investment through the generation of business contacts and the identification of specific commercial opportunities. It also aims to expand trade and investment networks, partnerships and, eventually, supply-chain integration and joint ventures between Asian and LAC companies. Furthermore, it will provide a forum to exchange trade promotion experiences between the public and private sectors of both regions.
The event will bring together Japan’s main regional trade partners, government representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean, private investors, and trade promotion agencies.
